PG-43: Music
1. Don't Wake Me Up - I'm Living My Dream
(PG-43)
This cliché is probably bouncing around somewhere in your subconscious. You could wake up some morning (both literally and figuratively) and recognize some realism to the saying. Perhaps you have to reach age 43 before you put two and two together. Anyway, this one's got to make you smile. The message is happy and the groove is terrific. If you're not dancing with this tune, check to see if you still have legs.
LYRICS
I see her lying next to me - I hear her breathe - I touch her knee
Would this happen in real life - Could this angel be my wife
I must be asleep - living my dreams
I may be unconscious - but I like what I see
I'm not anxious -to solve this mystery
So don't disturb me everything's OK
I don't care - if it's night or day
I just can't let this feeling go
And I don't really need to know
If this is heaven - or just the way it seems
Don't wake me up - I'm living my dreams
If I don't appear to be - in touch with reality
If you speak and I don't respond - don't go dialing nine one one
It's just that I'm asleep - living my dreams
I'm walking on sunshine - each day I spend with her
I'm on cloud nine - don't bring me down to earth
So don't disturb me everything's OK
I don't care - if it's night or day
I just can't let this feeling go
And I don't really need to know
If this is heaven - or just the way it seems
Don't wake me up - I'm living my dreams
So don't disturb me everything's OK
I don't care - if it's night or day
I just can't let this feeling go
And I don't really need to know
If this is heaven - or just the way it seems
Don't wake me up - I'm living my dreams
Don't wake me up - I'm living my dreams
